Craft Fair Display....

I started to plan my craft fair stall today... Found lots of baskets and old books, and I stole my daughters shelves.. don't even think she has noticed!!!!

Fab Wool Shop..

I have just discovered this fab wool shop on Etsy called Out of Step Dyeworks... All hand dyed wools in some amazing colours.. I love this Purple one below called "black rose".... Go take a look for your self.

Granny Chatting....

2 of my newest bears, Martha & Eliza having a good little chat, as its too wet and cold to go out for a picnic today...

I am going on a big shopping trip on Wednesday to get new fabrics.. I will try all the charity shops first and look for old shirts and other clothing items.. Martha the pink bear is made from an old shirt I found last year, I love the pink and white patterns. 

I am going to start planning my display for the craft fair in December too today.. I have an old cream throw I am going to use as a table cover and lots of wicker baskets and bits to sit the teddy's on. I need to find some old books too to give that vintage look. Also I need to borrow my daughters little book shelves to use in the display.... I will post photos of my ideas soon..

The Bear Accessories..

I have not had much of a crafty weekend this weekend.. Too busy bouncing around at a soft play kid zone centre yesterday with my daughter... Paying for it today though!! I am not as agile as I used to be....

I am slowly getting bits ready for the craft fair I am doing in December, and today I made these few bits for Fred Teddy (yes all my teddy's have been named).

The glasses are made from copper wire and the satchel is stitched from felt... I might yet buy proper miniature glasses from Ebay as I am not entirely happy with how mine have turned out.. 

I am also awaiting delivery of 3 straw hats for my teddy's too... Cant wait.

11 Weeks Till Christmas....

Oh my.... Only 11 weeks left till Christmas now, and I haven't even thought about shopping or where we will even spend the day!! I have been making decoration though with my 5 year old daughter.. Had great fun last night getting messy with papier mache in our pyjamas... Just a few of the bits we made below. Some need tweaking but look ok.. Going for a vintage Victorian tree this year I think.

Gussy.....

This is a polymer clay model I made of my husbands old basset dog, Gussy.... Very stubborn and stropy but lovely old dog... Slobbered a lot too, and loved rubbing her back under the Christmas tree every year when it was put up.
